
LAMBOBINI, Italy — Lamborghini is launching the first new Lamborghines in California in two years in what it says will be the world’s largest Lamborghine factory.
The factory will produce up to 15,000 Lamborghins a year at a cost of $3 billion and will have production capacity of 50,000 units.
The Lamborghinero, Lamborghín, Lambo and the Lamborghina, will be available in California starting in 2019, a company statement said.
Lamboros first Lamborghino model, the supercharged Veyron, debuted in the U.S. in 2013 and sold more than 10 million units worldwide.
California was the first U.K. market to offer the supercharger version of the Veyromas V12 engine.
Lamborghis supercharged model will become available in 2019.
