
Tesla and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles are about to open their first retail stores in New York City.
Tesla announced on Thursday that it will open an office and an outlet in the Manhattan borough of Manhattan, located on the Upper West Side.
The company said the opening of the store in Manhattan will be the company’s third in New England.
The company plans to have a presence in Newburgh and Worcester.
Fiat Chrysler Automobile, a division of Fiat Chrysler, said the first store in the city will be located in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park.
The automaker said it will also be the first to open in Long Island City.
The first stores in Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire are slated to open next year.
The New Jersey-based automaker has more than 3,000 dealerships in North America.
